Nymphs of shield bug (Pycanum rubens) Looks like a leaf, salmon.... The adult is actually a lot larger than the nymphs. Found on the underside of the leaves of Simpoh air (Dillenia suffruticosa). More information can be found here.

Then on our way back, Dhava spotted a large yellow bird perching on a tree at the edge of the water body. It's the stork-billed kingfisher (Halcyon capensis). This kingfisher is the largest found in Singapore and is rarely spotted due to its shy nature. More information can be found here.
